As part of Midsumma Festival, Park Lounge is an event which celebrates Queer Culture in Melbourne.

We were commissioned to capture this energetic event in celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, which featured dance, drag, live music, food and theatre. 

Due to our vast experience capturing events from diverse cultural  backgrounds, Wyndham City Council commissioned us to document the attendees with sensitivity and care. With our unobtrusive style, we ensured that every moment was authentically documented, allowing the those photographed to to feel comfortable, included and safe in front of our cameras. We shot the campaign from the perspective of visitors attendance, which is now used widely in council marketing. 

DELIVERABLES

• 5 x key hero images, used for future promotion of the yearly event

• Large suite of photography - crowd shots, broad landscapes views,

  portrait close ups, live music and activities.

• Imagery used by government, media and tourism trade for promotion in

  online, social media, print, editorial and advertising. 

• 10  and 30 second video footage for use on social media. 

• Close-up images of people (consent forms were finalised).
